Police in Brighton and Hove are searching for 51-year old Christopher George, who is wanted for recall to prison for breaching the terms of his release licence.
George, who is described as 5ft 8in, of medium build, with blue eyes, has his initials, CG, tattooed on fingers of his right hand, and the West Ham United crest tattooed on his right leg.
He was on licence part way through his sentence for causing grievous bodily harm but has now failed to comply with the release conditions.
He is known to frequent Brighton and Hove.
