UPDATE: Reece Pateman has been found.
A missing 14-year-old boy could be in Brighton or travelling on a train further afield.
Sussex Police said today (Wednesday 9 September): “Police are searching for 14-year-old Reece Pateman who was last seen leaving his school in Peacehaven on Tuesday morning (8 September).
“Reece is white, 5ft 3in, with ginger hair and blue eyes. He was wearing school uniform – a black jumper, polo shirt, black trousers and red baseball cap.
“He is likely to be using public transport and in particular the train network, potentially around Brighton and East Sussex areas but maybe further afield.”
Sergeant Lynda Lynch said: “We are concerned for Reece’s welfare and anyone who sees him or knows where he may be is asked to contact us.”
