1) The mouthwatering prospect that if the Seagulls remain unbeaten in the League up to and including the home match to Brentford in February they will beat a record set by Liverpool in 1893. Sky may have already spotted this.

2) Tomer Hemed’s brilliant goal-line clearance in the first half.

3) Inigo Calderon’s never say die attitude – getting stiched up and getting back to left back .

4) Albion fans chanting Bobby Zamora’s name throughout the match. Zamora broke Derby hearts in 2014. Scoring the winner for QPR in the play-off final  After the Rams had beaten Albion convincingly over two legs.

5) The prospect of pundits Don Goodman of Sky Sports and Ex Albion player Mark Lawewnson of Match of The Day.Eating humble pie after dismissing the Seagulls on thier respective shows last week. Despite the Albion being unbeaten and top of the Football League.
