Brighton Magistrates' Court

A woman from Kemp Town has been served a restraining order banning her from contacting a consultant gynaecologist.

Ann-Clare Corfield, 55, of Eastern Terrace Mews, in Brighton, persistently called Peter Larsen-Disney’s Brighton home and office and sent letters to him at his home.

Corfield was made the subject of a restraining order banning her from contacting the surgeon directly or indirectly for a year.

She was convicted of harassing Mr Larsen-Disney at home and work over a five-month period last year from June to November.

She denied the charge when she appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court earlier this month but she was found guilty by district judge Tessa Szagun.

Corfield was also ordered to pay £150 towards the cost of the prosecution and a £15 victim surcharge.

Mr Larsen-Disney, who specialises in treating gynaecological cancers, is also the chief of surgery at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Has anyone asked why this lady was so obsessed with calling? Was she wrongly diagnosed several times? I would be concerned about the ladies state of mind and health! Is anyone looking after her?
