As the i360 is due to open tomorrow (Thursday 4 August), here is a round-up of some of the videos to have found their way on to YouTube marking – and even mocking – the £46 million project.
They include a glimpse of the sort of view you can expect from Brighton’s latest tourist attraction, filmed using a drone.
There are a couple of time-lapse films – one showing the glass pod being assembled and the other looking at the way a jacking tower was used to put up the steel 530ft (162m) tower.
Plus there’s Brighton singer, songwriter and comedian Hannah Brackenbury’s take on the i360.
