The X-Factor singer will play at the home of Sussex County Cricket Club on Sunday 16 July as part of his British tour.

He said: “I am thrilled to play at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove. Outdoor shows are so much fun and I am looking forward to performing my biggest songs on my biggest outdoor tour.”

Murs is the most successful solo act to emerge from the X-Factor competition on TV. Since emerging in 2009 he has notched up four multi-platinum albums and produced four Number 1 singles with total record sales exceeding 10 million.

His latest single is called Years and Years from his new album 24 Hrs.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday (2 December) at 9am priced at £39.50 or £55 plus booking fee.

What is the point of having a comments box if all you ever do is delete the ones you don’t like? It’s pathetic. Just because I put you right on something like Leona Lewis being more successful than Olly Murs? Can’t handle being corrected or something. So very sad! Just about every time I have commented you have deleted. I have never sworn, or been rude. You should allow comments to remain, or you just look petty and unprofessional.
