Police are concerned for a missing girl from Brighton.
Verphy Kudi, 14, told her mum she was staying with a friend in Hove over the weekend but didn’t return home. It has also been established that she didn’t stay with the friend at all.
Verphy has been sending messages and it is believed she may be in London.
PC James Huntley said: “Verphy is only 14 and we are growing concerned about her being away from home for so long. She is black and has very long braided black hair. When she left she took a large black bag and was wearing a black leather jacket.
“We believe she may be in the Brixton or Clapham Junction area of London.”
