Detectives are asking the public to help them find a man suspected of raping a woman in Brighton and have released a CCTV picture of him.
Sussex Police said: “Police investigating a report of a rape on a woman would like to talk to this man.
“He was captured on CCTV following the rape in Middle Street, Brighton, at 4am on Wednesday 30 November.
“A 19-year-old woman had met the suspect in a night club and then at Buddies fish and chip along the seafront. They went to an alleyway where she said he raped her.
“The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 8in, aged about 24, with a thin face, bald or shaved head and clean shaven. He had prominent ears and was wearing a low roundneck light-coloured long-sleeved blue top and blue jeans.”
Detective Inspector Suzy Joseph said: “We would like to hear from anyone who knows this man in the CCTV or has any information about him.
“Our specially trained officers are supporting the victim.”
