The A23 has reopened after a lorry overturned just north of Brighton this morning (Thursday 18 May).
Sussex Police said: “The A23 at Pyecombe reopened at noon after being closed for nearly three hours.
“A lorry shed its load of rocks and collided with a BMW car just after 9am, blocking the road and causing significant delays on the southbound carriageway.
“A crane was brought in to right the lorry and the road had to be examined for damage before being reopened.
“The driver of the BMW suffered a minor hand injury. The lorry driver was uninjured.
