Brighton and Hove Albion have agreed terms with FC Zurich for Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena.
The 21-year-old forward will travel to the UK for a medical.
His permanent transfer will be subject to an EU work permit and international clearance.
The fee is so far undisclosed but is thought to be in excess of £10 million.
Dwamena scored 14 goals in 18 games for the Swiss side since joining them in January.
He was previously at Austria Lustenau where his strike rate was even more impressive – 18 goals in 20 games.
He has also hit the net twice in three international appearances for Ghana.
There are also fresh reports that Albion have put in a £10 million bid for Cardiff City’s Danish striker Kenneth Zohore.
The club’s interest was flagged up last month, with speculation bubbling up again in the past three or four days.
