Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Rohan Ince has been signed on loan by Bury for the rest of the season.
Albion have an option to recall the 24-year-old Londoner rom the League One side during the January transfer window.
The former Chelsea youngster made his debut for Bury in the Lancashire derby with Rochdale yesterday (Saturday 26 August). Ince had one of the few chances for Bury in the goalless draw.
His loan move, announced on Friday, comes after a season when Ince made no Championship starts for the Seagulls. But he played 14 matches and scored twice during a spell on loan with Swindon Town last season.
Albion manager Chris Hughton said: “Rohan wants to play regularly and this is an opportunity which allows him to do that. It’s a move that benefits all three parties – the player, ourselves and Bury.
“Rohan impressed at that level in the second half of last season with Swindon and also has good experience with both ourselves and Fulham at Championship level.
“We will keep a close eye on his progress.”
Ince also played ten times on loan at Fulham in 2016, scoring once.
He joined Albion from Chelsea in 2013 and has played more than 90 senior games for the club, scoring five goals.
He made his most recent appearance on Tuesday (22 August) in the 1-0 Leaue Cup win over Barnet at the Amex.
