Southampton man charged after arrest at Brighton match

A Southampton shop worker has been charged after being arrested at the American Express Community Stadium in Falmer before the Brighton and Hove Albion match on Sunday.

Sussex Police said: “A man has been charged with committing a public order offence at the Amex Stadium in Brighton just before the Brighton and Hove Albion v Southampton football match on Sunday (29 October).

“Jonathan Mark Coombs, 28, a shop employee, of Olive Road, Southampton, was arrested inside the stadium shortly before the match began.

“He is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on (Thursday) 30 November, charged with using threatening and abusive words and behaviour.”

    He deserves to b charged wat right does he have yo use language like that as a Southampton supporter I’m ashamed I’m due to go to st Marys on sat 4th nov I will show respect to the club he gives Southampton fc a bad name
