Snowday arrives in Brighton and Hove

It’s snowing!
Brighton and Hove 2018
A significant sprinkling of snow last night has been joined by more flurries this mornig, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest snow day in Brighton and Hove since 2009.

Dozens of schools have closed, including Patcham Junior School, Longhill High School, Brighton and Hove Pupil Referral Unit and St Bartholomews primary school, but most are still open – for now.

Brighton and Hove Buses are unable to serve Woodingdean, but other services are running fine for the time being.

There are currently some alterations to the Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express services and passengers are advised to check before travelling.
