Brighton and Hove is still sparkling with snow in the cold sun – and it looks like it will remain a winter wonderland for at least the nextday or two as more snow comes our way.
Plunging temperatures and more snowfall overnight meant that the city woke up to more wintry scenes. And the city is part of the large area covered by two yellow weather warnings for wind and snow today and tomorrow. Forecasts currently suggest we are more likely to get heavy snow tomorrow – and possibly Friday too.
Buses and trains are running with some disruption, but on the whole the city is moving well – albeit slowly. A broken down train at Moulsecoomb delayed trains between Lewes and Brighton this morning, but services are now recovering. Full details of Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express services can be found here.
uses are largely running to their normal route, although there are some difficulties accessing outer areas such as Moulsecoomb and Coldean. Full details of Brighton and Hove Bus disruption can be found here.
Brighton and Hove News will continue to put as many of your snow pictures as we can on our Twitter collection below.
