The Seagulls lost to a David Brooks goal in each half as they were beaten again at the Vitality Stadium by Bournemouth.
Albion had chances through Jurgen Locadia and Florin Andone but both were foiled by Asmir Begovic.
The Seagulls had Lewis Dunk sent off for two bookable offences and he will now miss Albion’s next match at home to Arsenal on Boxing Day.
