Wanted barber faces Brighton court charged with raping a child
A wanted barber faces court in Brighton charged with raping a 14-year-old girl.
Tre John Bunby is due to appear before Brighton magistrates today (Thursday 18 April).
Bunby, formerly of Huddersfield Avenue, Peacehaven, was arrested after Sussex Police offered a £500 reward for information about his whereabouts.
He was caught in Eastbourne on Tuesday night.
The force said this morning: “A man is due to appear in court today (Thursday 18 April) charged with two counts of raping a child.
“Tre John Bunby was arrested at his address in Harold Drive, Eastbourne, on Tuesday night (16 April) and remanded in custody.
“The 26-year-old is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of raping a girl aged 14.
“The offences are alleged to have occurred in Hailsham in October.”
