The Great Escape new music festival that takes place in Brighton and Hove every year is nearly upon us. This year it will be happening all over the city on Thursday 9th, Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May.
This year there are over 500 acts playing The Great Escape with many more performing at The Alternative Great Escape. It sure can be daunting in choosing which acts to go and see live, but it is essential that music lovers attending the event know exactly where each venue is located. Otherwise you will more than likely miss your chosen artist or band.

Located behind the Royal Pavilion gardens and to the side of the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery.
2 Ditto Stage – TGE Beach Site (Brighton Beach, Madeira Drive, Brighton, BN2 1AD)
Located directly on Brighton Beach in between Brighton Marina and Brighton Palace Pier.
3 Three Wise Cats (The Casablanca Jazz Club) (3 Middle Street, Brighton BN1 1AL)
Located off A259 Kings Road on the left hand side – look out for The Casablanca Jazz Club.
4 Coalition (171-181 Kings Road Arches, Brighton BN1 1NB)
Located next to the beach below A259 Kings Road opposite the Middle Street turn off.
5 Concorde 2 (Madeira Drive, Brighton BN2 1EN)
Located on Madeira Drive beach road not far from Brighton Marina.

Located off of North Street in Duke Street in art gallery in a former church.

Located next door to Jubilee Library in front of Pizza Express.

Located directly underneath Brighton Railway Station – access via top of Trafalgar Street opposite The Prince Albert.

Located at bottom of ramp in an arch next to the beach below A259 Kings Road in between Brighton Palace Pier and the ruin of the West Pier.

Located on the end of Brighton Pier.

Located in basement of building in Gardner Street, however entry is often via the back of the building in Regent Street off of Church Street – down the stairs on entry.

Located in Gardner Street, however entry is often via the back of the building in Regent Street off of Church Street – turn left on entry.

Located at the very bottom of West Street opposite PRYZM nightclub, where it meets the A259 Kings Road.

Located next door to demolished building, a few yards south of the larger St Peter’s Church.

Located on A259 coast road in between Brighton Palace Pier and the ruin of the West Pier.

Located on A259 coast road across the road from the Harvester near Brighton Palace Pier – entry down steps through black gates.
