Vienna Vienna announces a handful of UK dates

Los Angeles-based artist Vienna Vienna has made a career out of turning emotional wreckage into something euphoric. On his new single, ‘Angel Wings’, he pushes that tension even further, channeling despair and existential collapse into an anthem built for screaming out your window.

Waving between grimy ‘90s guitar textures, punchy live-wire drums, and lyrics soaked in desperation, ‘Angel Wings’ opens like a slow emotional bleed before detonating into a soaring chorus carried by J’s magnetic, pleading vocals. It’s a song that treats hiding your true self less like solemn reflection and more like an uncontrollable physical force.

“I know something you never will / Save your breath for the judge / Angel wings, Angel dust,” J shouts across the chorus, delivering one of the year’s most cathartic hooks with equal parts sneer and sincerity.

Built around dynamic instrumentation and a volatile emotional center, the track captures the signature chaos of Vienna Vienna’s self-described “Glimmer Rock” universe where queerness, dread, theatricality, and dance-floor release all coexist in beautifully unstable balance.

Speaking on the song, J says, “Hiding queerness from your ‘friends’ is hard, but hiding it from ‘God’ is a battle of life and death. I mean, how could I not fall in love with the secrecy of it all, the feeling of being on the run? ‘I know something you never will’… sure bud, good luck with that.”

Vienna Vienna’s ‘Entertain Me’ EP

The new single follows January’s ‘Entertain Me’ EP, a project born from a period of personal clarity and artistic expansion. Across the release, Vienna Vienna interrogated modern distraction – drugs, the internet, self-destruction, desire – and the ways people lose themselves trying to escape reality. Since its release, ‘Entertain Me’ has amassed over 1.8 million streams and earned early tastemaker support, including a conversation with Allison Hagendorf and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, alongside a feature from SPIN.

Vienna Vienna’s momentum continues to build online as fan-favourite track ‘Make A Man Out Of You’ recently saw streaming jump following its sync placement in the season finale of ‘Off Campus’, soundtracking one of the show’s major cliffhanger moments. Currently a top 10 series on Prime Video in the U.S., the placement has already sparked a wave of discovery across platforms as excitement around the finale continues to grow.

For Vienna Vienna, the music reaches its fullest form onstage, where emotional chaos becomes catharsis, spectacle, and release. Blending glam theatrics with basement-show intensity, his performances turn shouted confessions into communal singalongs that feel equally unhinged and euphoric. Days out from touring in support of G Flip, with a debut Europe and UK tour around the corner which includes a date in Brighton at The Hope & Ruin on 14th September courtesy of FORM Presents, (Tickets HERE), Vienna Vienna will also appear at all U.S. dates of the 2026 Vans Warped Tour.

ABOUT VIENNA VIENNA:

Vienna Vienna is always waiting for his next chance to take the stage, to electrify an audience with his signature Glimmer Rock sound. For J, the multi-instrumentalist behind the project, performance is catharsis, connection, and release. His debut EP ‘Wonderland’ – released in October 2024 via PULSE Records and Pete Wentz’s DCD2 – introduced a world shaped by queerness, self-acceptance, and emotional release, establishing him as a rising voice within the alternative landscape.

In early 2025, he broke out with the viral single ‘God Save The Queens’, a defiant celebration of queer identity that amassed over one million streams and sparked a wave of fan support. Its neon-lit video, featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race star Salina Es Titties, became an instant rallying point for the LGBTQIA+ community, and a portion of proceeds from his limited-run merch supported the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Onstage, Vienna Vienna is electric. His performances radiate emotional intensity, queer joy, and a magnetic unpredictability that feels both intimate and explosive. He captivated audiences on his support runs with K.Flay and Valley, and dazzled at headline shows across California, transforming every room into a space of communal release. As his fanbase continues to grow, so does the world he’s building – one where strangeness is celebrated, connection is central, and the live show is the beating heart of it all.

He entered a new era with the ‘Entertain Me’ EP, leaning into groove-driven production and sharp, self-aware songwriting. Singles like ‘Idle Hands’ and ‘Company Hunting’ showcase his blend of 80s pop energy, modern indie rock, and introspective lyricism, including collaborations with hit songwriter Justin Tranter. Confident, cathartic, and a little bit chaotic, Vienna Vienna continues to build a world where strangeness is celebrated and community comes first.
