Police are trying to identify and find a man suspected of assault during a day of protests in Brighton.
Sussex Police arrested eight people on the day when an estimated 4,000 people took part in two opposing protests in June.
One of the protests was referred to as “Stop the Boats” and the other was called the “Carnival Against Fascism”.
A police operation known as Op Boise is under way and today (Friday 4 September) Sussex Police published a photograph of a suspect.
The force said: “Do you recognise this man?
“Officers would like to speak to him in connection with an alleged assault on a man at the protest in Brighton city centre on Saturday 13 June.
“If this is you, or someone you know, please contact police on 101, quoting crime reference 47260142979.”
