A new KFC at Brighton Marina is set to open on Monday, the fast food chain has announced.
The fried chicken outlet has taken over the old Pizza Hut unit in between the cinema and the bowling alley.
The company says the K&Z franchise will be running it, and will employ 30 people there.
The new restaurant seats 112 guests and features digital ordering kiosks, dine-in, click and collect and delivery via Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
K&Z has run KFC restaurants across south London and the south coast for the last 20 years.
It has promised its Brighton Marina team will take part in regular litter picks along the boardwalk and seafront and will donate surplus food to community kitchens through KFC’s partnership with The Felix Project.
Louise Taylor, centre director at Brighton Marina, commented: “KFC’s arrival strengthens our grab-and-go food offering, providing guests with even more choices while visiting. We look forward to seeing the venue open its doors next week.”
