Brighton police have been kitted out with a fancy new beach buggy to help keep people safe on the shingle at night.
The new all-terrain vehicle (ATV) was introduced this month to support seafront patrols in Brighton, helping to keep the public safe, deter crime and provide a highly visible police presence.
The ATV will be particularly focused on the night-time economy and the early hours, enhancing officers’ ability to respond promptly on the beaches.
The specialist vehicle will patrol on the shingle, and is equipped with blue lights, a powerful spotlight and high-powered LED lighting.
Should be a good help in catching the growing number of foreign beach rapists!
Hopefully they can just run them over.
