Susan Calman, Theatre Royal, Brighton, 7th October 2026

Much-loved, slightly short, and full of stories, Susan Calman is heading to Brighton’s Theatre Royal for one night only in October this year. And about time, too – it has been ten years since she last went on tour, and we expect life may have changed for her somewhat!

Susan Calman is a Scottish comedian, writer, presenter and author with the warmest personality and a distinctive storytelling style. Born in Glasgow in 1974, she began her comedy career after working as a corporate lawyer. She has appeared on numerous British television and radio programmes, including Would I Lie to You?, QI, The News Quiz and The Boss. Her recent travel shows share her enthusiasm for exploring Scotland and other parts of the world, and we would all like to be a passenger in her cute little van.

Tall Tales dives headfirst into the most unbelievable highlights: from cruising the world to driving tanks, her enduring love of cats and the trials and triumphs of getting older. She may not be tall, and she warns people up front just how true this is, but her stories promise to take people to the top and right back down again.

Susan said: “It’s been ten whole years since I last headed out on tour, and I couldn’t be more excited to get back on the road. I’ve collected so many ridiculous and unbelievable stories over the last decade that it feels only right to share them in person – preferably while dancing badly. I can’t wait to see everyone across the UK again and have a joyful, hilarious time together.”

Susan Calman’s Tall Tales is showing at the Theatre Royal, Brighton on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026.
