Brighton Kemptown MP filmed dancing like a chicken in Parliament

A bizarre video of Brighton Kemptown MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle dancing like a chicken in the House of Commons has been published.

Is that a chicken or @lloyd_rm? (Ft. @abenaopp @DawnButlerBrent) pic.twitter.com/jcelEUXkoj

— Maliha (@maliharez) February 4, 2020

The video shows him being pushed by fellow Labour MP Abena Oppong-Asare while shadow minister and deputy leader hopeful Dawn Butler points at him crouching and flapping his arms.

It was filmed and then posted on Tik Tok and Twitter on Tuesday by student and Labour member Maliha Reza as a parody of a Vine posted in 2016 by Kylie Jenner.

In reply, Mr Russell-Moyle says: “I felt bullied into doing this.”

Ms Reza said she thought this might be the first Tik Tok filmed in Parliament.

So, this bloke makes himself look like a complete and bizarre idiot, both in Parliament and out of it (as he has since he became an MP) on the same day as his ‘literature’ gets stuffed through my letterbox assuring me, whether I voted for him or not (I certainly didn’t) that he is a serious person and cares about all his constituents, whatever their political persuasion. I’m speechless!

How did this complete cretin get voted in as an MP – because the large lgbt community voted him in en masse simply because he is gay, that’s why, as none of the other contending candidates were. They have every right to vote for who they like but when you look at his conduct and antics, he is just not fit for purpose as an MP and does not deserve to be in such a responsible position – never mind getting paid £1800 a week plus expenses
