A 38-year-old woman from Hove has been arrested after police officers raided a house looking for drugs.
The woman was arrested during the drugs raid in Hardwick Road, Hangleton, yesterday morning (5 October).
Sussex Police said that officers executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act and arrested the woman on suspicion of supplying cannabis.
She was also suspected of having a Class A drug.
The woman was questioned and later released on police bail until Monday 12 December.
Hangleton and Knoll councillor Dawn Barnett said: “I’m really pleased if any drug dealers have been caught.
“There is a lot of social housing around here with children and it’s not acceptable.
“These children are our future.”
