Detectives raided two properties in Brighton and Hove to search for drugs yesterday evening (Monday 25 March).
They searched an address in Park Crescent, Brighton, and another in York Road, Hove, with warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Sussex Police said that the raids were carried out by officers from the force’s Serious Organised Crime Unit who have been investigating alleged dealing in class A and B drugs in the Brighton area.
A 39-year old woman was arrested in Park Crescent Terrace on suspicion of obstructing police during the search. She was later released without charge.
A small amount of cannabis was seized at the Hove address. No other drugs were seized during the searches and the investigation continues.
