An out of control dog attacked a man and his pet in a park in Portslade, police said as they launched a witness appeal today.
Sussex Police received a report of a white dog being dangerously out of control in Victoria Road at about 9.30pm on Monday 23 March.
Officers are keen to trace witnesses or anyone with information and have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak with.
He is described as being about 6ft tall, wearing a dark-coloured hooded top, white t-shirt, jeans and trainers.
The dog was white with a patch of dark fur over its right eye.
