Roads around Preston Park have been closed by police after an elderly man threatened to harm himself.
Police were called to Preston Manor at 7.30am this morning after concerns for the health of a man at Preston Manor.
A police spokeswoman said: “The man, believed to be in his 80s, is threatening to harm himself and officers are on scene talking to him.
“The road has been closed while officers talk to the man.”
The situation is still ongoing.
