A man has been rushed to hospital this afternoon with serious head injuries after falling 30ft off a ladder.
The air ambulance landed on The Level after being called to the incident in Caledonian Road at 2.35pm.
A police spokeswoman said: “Emergency services are dealing with a man who fell 30ft from a ladder in Caledonian Road, Brighton, at 2.35pm on Tuesday (9 September).
“He has suffered a head injury and has been taken by road ambulance to the air ambulance which has landed at The Level.”
The man was stretchered into the air ambulance which took off at about 4pm.
