Feedback wanted about rubbish and recycling collections in Brighton and Hove

Have you got something to say about rubbish and recycling collections in Brighton and Hove?

And could you give feedback about street cleaning and parks?

Brighton and Hove City Council wants volunteers to join residents’ focus groups on all these services.

The council said: “Participants will receive a high street shopping voucher that can be used across a wide number of stores in return for sharing their experiences and views on the way the council deals with these facilities.

“Volunteers should be able to commit to taking part in three group meetings over a six-month period for a maximum two hours each time.

“It is important to hear such feedback to help shape future services, particularly in the light of forthcoming budget reductions.

“The authority would like to hear from a cross-section of people, including homeowners or those sharing a flat or renting a property.”

whatvis there to say. When they actually bother to come round they often leave the bin or recycling boxes across your drive so you have to block the road when you get home whilst you move them back. They can’t walk 5 foot from the pavement to where I normally keep the bins and when collecting they know how to block a road unnecessarily and take their time.

    Worst service ever.
