3) Those responsible for pre-match entertainment no longer fade a verse of Sussex By The Sea as the teams come out.
4) Dale Stephens played his first match at home since April 2014. Stephens didn’t feature at all for Albion during Sami Hyypia’s reign due to injury.
5) The match sponsors chose two-goal Joao Teixeira as man of the match with five minutes of normal time and four minutes of injury time remaining.
