A 23-year-old man from Portslade is among nine more motorists to be charged as part of the annual summer crackdown on drink and drug driving.
Luke Wood, of Shelldale Crescent, Portslade, was arrested at 5.15am on Sunday (14 June) after he was stopped in Grand Parade, Brighton, because one of his car lights was not working.
He was charged with drink driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday 29 June.
Sussex Police said: “A total of 55 people have so far been charged with offences as part of Operation Dragonfly, Sussex Police’s June drink and drug driving operation.”
