X Factor’s latest casualty, former Tesco checkout girl Mary Byrne, will be making a special appearance at Brighton nightclub Revenge on Friday.
The 50-year-old Irish singer will be appearing live on stage from midnight. On Sunday night, she was axed from the reality TV show after a sing-off with Cher Lloyd, sparking claims of a fix.

The sing-off was a departure from the show’s usual format, in which the week’s losing contestant is ultimately decided on a viewers’ vote.
However, it is reported that Miss Byrne will get a Sony record deal anyway.
