Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault near to Brighton station in the early hours of Sunday.
The victim, a 24-year-old man from Crawley, was outside Budgens on Queens Road at 3.05am when he was involved in an altercation and was punched. He was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with facial and head injuries.
The suspects are three white men all in their early to mid 20s with short dark hair. One was wearing a grey jumper, one a white jumper and one had a jacket over a white T-shirt.
