The Treason Show is back on the Palace Pier in Brighton with some cut-price ticket offers for students and 999 personnel.
And the cast, led by the show’s founder and director Mark Brailsford, have the usual suspects in their sights in a series of songs and skethches.
Donald Trump, Theresa May and Boris Johnson have all said and done enough recently to keep the satirists’ appetites well and truly fed.
Whether it’s Trump sucking up to Vladimir Putin or Maybot dancing in Africa or even bonking Boris imploding, the audience can expect an easy-to-grasp take on the news and current affairs.
Pro-Brexit Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg has also been among the show’s recent targets, the royal family regularly get a look in and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn rarely escapes unscathed.
To mark 999 day last Sunday, the Treason Show is offering half-price tickets on the door for all NHS staff and emergency services personnel who show their ID.
And any students with valid ID can buy tickets for £5 on the door of Horatio’s towards the sea end of the pier.
The show is due to start at 8.30pm, with the doors open at 7pm, on Friday 14 September and Saturday 15 September. Tickets start at £10, with a meal deal for an extra £10.
The cast return to the Ropetackle, in Shoreham, at 8pm on Saturday 22 September, where tickets cost £16.
