Cyclist badly hurt after Brighton hit and run

A 62-year-old Hove cyclist was seriously hurt when he was knocked from his bicycle in Montpelier Road on Friday.
The collision occurred at about 5.15pm as the man was riding south down the road. The car involved did not stop at the scene. It is described as a white vehicle, but no make or model is known.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward and in particular, the driver of a white vehicle that was believed to have been near the scene at that time. Please contact 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1418 of 26/02.
