A 17-year-old Shoreham girl was badly hurt after the motorbike she was riding pillion on crashed with a van in Portslade yesterday morning.
The Suzuki bike was travelling eastbound along the A259 at about 11.25am when it crashed into the silver Renault van as it turned right into Brambledean Road.
The bike’s rider, a 29-year-old man from Shoreham, was slightly injured and the van driver, a 54-year-old man from Hove, escaped any injury, police said.
The teenage girl was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment.
