Cannabis found in drugs raid on Kemp Town house

A drugs raid of a Brighton house uncovered a loft full of cannabis plants.

Police executed the drugs warrant in Great College Street, Kemp Town, Brighton, at about 9am on Tuesday, May 18.

When they searched the house, they found equipment for cultivating cannabis and a large number of plants.

A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and released on police bail until July 22.
