One of Britain’s most popular television shows was broadcast from Brighton last night for the second week in a row.
The Antiques Roadshow on BBC One, hosted by Fiona Bruce, was filmed at Brighton College in Eastern Road.
Among the objects brought along by the hundreds of people who came along were a valuable cup and saucer bought at a boot sale.
The show’s experts were also asked to value a portrait of a pig by a famous artist and surprise treasures found in a safe once owned by Agatha Christie.
The programme regularly attracts more than 6.5 million viewers to its 8pm to 9pm slot on a Sunday evening and is now in its 33rd series, having started in 1979.
The programmes broadcast last night and last week were filmed at Brighton College on Thursday 3 June.
It is possible to see last night’s episode until next Sunday by clicking here although from next Sunday evening (31 October) it will be replace by the next programme in the series.
