A woman has been left with deep cuts to her face after an man launched an unprovoked attack on her in a Brighton bar the early hours of this morning.
The 33-year-old Brighton woman was attacked shortly before 3am at the Casablanca Bar in Kings Road. Police were called at 2.54am and the woman was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment.
A man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and is currently in custody at Brighton police station awaiting questioning.
