A fourth man has been charged with the murder of a homeless Brighton man.
Ireneusz Malesza, 22, who is also homeless, has been charged with the murder of Craig Palmer, 39, in Brighton on Saturday 15 January this year.
Malesza is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Wednesday 16 March).
Malesza is the fourth man to be charged with the murder of Palmer. John Battams, 40, Mike Zur, 28, and Bartlomiej Szostek, 27, all homeless, are currently in custody awaiting a plea and case management hearing at Lewes Crown Court on Friday 8 April.
A 37-year-old man from Worthing arrested on suspicion of murder has been rebailed until Monday 28 March
Mr Palmer’s body was found by police at a house in Russell Square, Brighton, which was being used as a squat.
