A man has been arrested on suspicion of stealing an expensive watch.
Sussex Police said that it was now trying to find the stolen Rolex which has been valued at £6,300.
A 29-year-old man from Brighton was held on suspicion of stealing the watch from someone in a pub in Rock Street, Kemp Town.
He has been bailed until Monday 28 March while police officers carry out further inquiries.
The theft is alleged to have taken place in the early hours of Thursday 3 February.
The watch is a Rolex Yachtmaster which was bought from a Brighton jeweller at the end of last year.
It has a blue dial and the serial number V798677 under the links.
