A night club in the centre of Brighton was evacuated after a customer pulled off a wooden ceiling panel while dancing in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday 18 November).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that firefighters were called to the Haunt in Pool Valley shortly before 1.30am.
The fire service said: “Fire crews were called to a Brighton nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning after a roof collapsed.
“Three fire engines from Brighton and Hove were called to the incident at 1.27am and remained there for just under half an hour.
“Crews made the area safe at the Haunt, Pool Valley, Brighton, before leaving.”
