Brighton and Hove Buses said that the latest snowfall had disrupted a number of services.
By 5.30pm it published a list of those affected on its website www.buses.co.uk which it promised to update.
The number 2 and 2A are operating only as far as the Old Steine.
The 5, 5A and 5B are running along the A23 and terminating at the Black Lion as they are unable to serve more of Patcham or Hollingbury. In Hangleton they are terminating in Poplar Avenue.
The 22 is withdrawn as there has been an accident in Falmer Road and the road is blocked while other roads in Woodingdean are impassable.
The 24 and 26 are not operating.
The 46 to and from Hollingbury is terminating at the Open Market.
The 48 and 49 are terminating at the bottom of The Avenue.
The 81 cannot go into Goldstone Valley and is terminating at The Upper Drive. It is also operating directly along Queen’s Park Road.
It has since announced that the 1 and 1A are terminating at the Whitehawk bus garage.
And the 23 and 25 are stopping at Falmer Station as they are unable to enter the campus at Sussex University or Brighton University.
A rush-hour accident has been reported on the A27 Brighton Bypass adding to congestion.
But it’s game this evening on for Brighton and Hove Albion fans who have travelled to Blackburn which has not been affected by snow today.
