Bikers burgle Brighton home
Two burglars fled a flat they had raided in broad daylight on a motorbike with a stash of designer handbags, jewellery and an Xbox.
The duo were seen running out of a flat in Islingword Road at about 3.30pm wearing motorbike helmets. Police believe they then rode a motorbike into the Patch.
Detective Sergeant Zoe Hubbard said: “We believe the men had come from the flat with stolen items in the bags they were carrying.
“We think after they escaped they rode into William Clarke Park [known locally as The Patch] and took off their crash helmets.
“We need to speak to anyone who saw the break-in, the men escaping from the flat or men in bike helmets in William Clarke Park. If you saw or heard anything, please contact us.”
A 21-year-old man from Peacehaven, a 22-year-old man from Brighton and a 29-year-old man of no fixed address have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of a class B drug.
All three men are currently being questioned in custody.
