Smash EDO staged its first protest outside the EDO MDM factory in Moulsecoomb, Brighton for many months yesterday.
A handful of demonstrators gathered outside the factory in Home Farm Road armed with guitars, a banjo, harmonicas, an accordion, a tambourine, whistles and a sound system for a Bad Music protest.
This was the first time they had protested outside EDO MDM since a Hallowe’en demo in October last year.
And in March last year, three protesters glued themselves to the factory gates to mark the tenth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq.
Tweeting from the @smash_edo Twitter account, one asked: “Has it been so long that the PLO’s [police liaison officers don’t remember that we don’ talk to them?”
We’ve arrived at the factory and are ready to make some noise! pic.twitter.com/devPpmEw7w

The group was also at the Level on March 23 this year to take part in the international Fly Kites Not Drones Day in solidarity with the people of Afghanistan:
