Woman suffers broken eye socket in Brighton seafront attack
Two people have been arrested for assault after a woman suffered a fractured eye socket when she was attacked on Brighton seafront last week.
The victim, a 44-year-old woman from Portslade, was approached by a small group of woman outside the Brighton Music Hall in King’s Road Arches at about 4.30pm on Monday 19 May.
Sussex Police said: “The victim suffered a fractured eye socket after being punched.”
Two women, a 25-year-old and a 39-year-old, both from Brighton, have been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and having a class C drug with intent to supply.
They have been bailed until Tuesday 8 July while investigations continue.
