A young man has been taken to hospital after falling 50ft from the cliff above Brighton Marina on to the undercliff below.
The man was conscious and breathing when he was found after the fall earlier this afternoon (Monday 2 February).
A police spokesman said: “Shortly before 1.30pm a man believed to be in his twenties was seen by members of the public to fall or slide some 50ft from the cliff above the Marina at Brighton, on to the undercliff walkway.
“He was conscious and breathing and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment. No assessment of his condition has yet been received.”
