Fire breaks out under stairs in Brighton House
Firefighters from Preston Circus were called out at 5.27am this morning (Tuesday) to reports of smoke under stairs at a house in Ditchling Road.
They used breathing apparatus, two carbon dioxide extinguishers and a hose reel to extinguish a fire under the stairs in an electrical intake.
A Positive Pressure Ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the building and home safety advice was given.
UK Power Network was requested to attend.
