Popular Coal Shed to open sister restaurant at Brighton Metropole
One of Brighton’s most popular new restaurants is set to open another city branch at the Hilton Metropole.
Up to 1,000 diners visit the Coal Shed in Boyce’s Street each week, and so to keep up with demand, owner Razak Helelat is preparing to open a seafood restaurant, The Salt Room, at the seafront hotel.
Former Ginger Pig and Coal Shed head chef Dave Mothersill will be heading up the Salt Room’s kitchen team.
The seafood restaurant, which will have a main restaurant, bar service and terrace, is due to open on Friday, 20 February.
