A 19-year-old Brighton student called Rob Knox is said to appear in a film showing a racist attack on the Paris Metro on Tuesday (17 February).

The Metropolitan Police has also released CCTV images of three men who were said to be present when the incident took place.

There is no suggestion that the three men – or the teenager who is originally from South London – were involved but they could be witnesses.

The film is reported to show Chelsea supporters shoving a black man off a Paris Metro train before the club’s Champions League fixture with Paris St Germain.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said yesterday: “I felt ashamed. We have zero tolerance to this.”
